This photo is autographed by coach Don Haskins and players Willie "Scoops" Cager, Henry "Moe" Iba, Nevil Shed, Jerry Armstrong, Bobby Joe Hill, Harry Flournoy Jr., Willie Worsley, Louie Baudoin, David Lattin, Orsten Artes, Albert "Togo" Railey, Dick Meyers, David Palacio, Eddie Mullens, and Freddy Schwake. This championship winning team was the first team in history to start five African-American players. In the 1966 National Championship game, Texas Western defeated Kentucky 72-65. Bobby Joe Hill led the team with 20 points. Western Texas (now UTEP) took a total of 34 free-throw attempts during the game and made 28 of them. This framed photo has a Steiner hologram.
