This Louisville Slugger TPX P72 bat was game used by Alex Rodriguez on August 8th, 2005 where he hit his 413th career home run and the 32nd of his 2005 MVP season. He hit the home run off of Orlando Hernandez of the Chicago White Sox. This bat shows marks across the barrel. It is customized and engraved for Rodriguez. The elite hologram is stickered onto the bottom cap of the bat which is marked "321". Rodriguez's 2nd season with the New York Yankees in 2005 was one of the most successful seasons of his career. Rodriguez finished the season with a .321 batting average and carried the Yankee offense on his back, hitting 48 home runs and driving in 130 runs. Rodriguez reached many milestones while playing for the Yankees, includng his 500th and 600th career home runs, and his 3,000th career hit (via home run). He retired with the 4th-most home runs in MLB history (696). This bat is accompanied by an Elite letter of authenticity, which displays an image of Rodriguez autographing this bat.
