Jeter was named captain of the Yankees in 2003. Jeter wore Rawlings glove's throughout his career. This glove shows moderate wear and has Derek Jeter's name sewn directly below the webbing. In the 10th inning of Game 4 of the 2001 World Series, just after midnight on November 1st, Jeter lofted a walk-off homerun into the right field seats to become "Mr. November".
