This hat was worn by John Hirschbeck while calling balls and strikes on Sept 19th, 2011 when Mariano Rivera recorded 602nd save of his career by pitching a perfect 1-2-3 ninth inning as the Yankees beat the Twins at Yankee Stadium. Hirschbeck called out Chris Parmelee to end the game and Mariano Rivera recorded his 43rd save of the season and put him past closer Trevor Hoffman for the most save in baseball history.
