This black Louisville Slugger model C271 Bat, autographed by Hall-of-Famer Ken Griffey Jr. during Griffey’s great Mariners’ years (1991-1997). Ken Griffey Jr. began his illustrious Major League career with the Seattle Mariners in 1989. Between the years 1991-1997, Griffey averaged 37 home runs, 104 RBI and maintained a .304 batting average. In 1997, he was the American League MVP. In his 21-year MLB career Junior has won numerous honors and awards, and was inducted into Baseball’s Hall of Fame in 2016 with the highest percentage of votes of any player (99.3%) at the time"

John Hirschbeck is a former umpire for Major League Baseball. He worked in the American League from 1984 to 1999 and worked in both leagues from 2000 to 2016. He was a crew chief at the time of his retirement and wore uniform number 17 throughout his career. In 2000, Hirschbeck was elected as the first president of the newly certified World Umpires Association, a position he held until 2009.
