This bat was game used by Ed Kranepool. He is a 1969 World Series Champion and spent his entire MLB career with the Mets.

Bobby Valentine is a former Major League Baseball player and manager. His baseball career lasted between 1969-2012 for numerous organizations. In 2005, Valentine led the Chiba Lotte Marines to the NPB (Japan) championship. In 2013, Valentine became the Athletic Director at Sacred Heart University. Throughout his tenure at SHU, he has raised the visibility and status of the Pioneer athletics program, including the construction of a new Student-Athlete Enhancement Center, a new weight room, playing fields, surfaces, courts, locker rooms and much more. He was named the 2016 ECAC Division I Administrator of the Year.

Net Proceeds will benefit the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship at Sacred Heart University, helping continue Jackie Robinson’s lifelong mission of creating a more fair and just society. The scholarship will provide students identified by the Jackie Robinson Foundation with a four-year scholarship to attend SHU.
